Hey there, I’m Julie—Welcome!

If we were talking right now, I’d want to know about you—what brought you here and what kind of life you’re dreaming of creating. Because here’s what I believe—food isn’t simply about what’s on our plate. It’s how we care for ourselves, connect, and create a life that feels meaningful, even in the busiest or most uncertain moments.

For years, I’ve explored how food shapes our health and our lives. Cultures from around the world, like those in the Blue Zones, show us what we eat has the power to transform everything—our energy, our mindset, even how we age.

And the best part? Plant-based food can be delicious, satisfying, and full of flavor. I’ve spent years creating recipes that are nourishing and deeply delicious—the kind of food that makes you think, this can’t be plant-based… but it is.

For me, it all starts with food. It’s not about perfection, but creating a foundation that supports us, even when things get messy. When we get that right, everything else tends to fall into place.

Traditions

Through more than 20 years of marriage, I was immersed in the rich traditions of Mexican culture, and it forever changed how I view food.

Though that chapter of my life has ended, the lessons I learned and the flavors I fell in love with remain a part of me.

Mexican cuisine became a love language for me—simple, flavorful, steeped in tradition, and shared with the people I love most.

Cooking for nine kids (yes, nine!) was always an adventure. Trying to meet everyone’s needs, stick to a budget, and still make food that was healthy and delicious taught me much about creativity and resilience in the kitchen.

My kids grew up eating beans, rice, and salsa in endless combinations, and I learned there’s a world of possibility in even the simplest ingredients.

Even now, some of our family favorites—like enchiladas, tamales, and gorditas—still make regular appearances—blending traditional flavors with plant-based ingredients that honor their roots and keep the soul of the dish alive.

While Mexican cuisine holds a special place in my heart, I’m always exploring how to bring bold, exciting tastes to plant-based cooking. The beauty of plant-based is its versatility—you can recreate just about anything and make it your own.

I believe great food creates great habits, and great habits build a great life. When we eat in a way that truly supports us, everything starts to feel more aligned—we move through life with more energy, clarity, and joy.

As a holistic health coach, my mission is to help you find the connection between what’s on your plate and the life you want to build. Whether you’re new to plant-based eating or have been doing this for years, I hope you’ll find inspiration here to create meals that excite you, help you feel amazing, and empower you to create a life you love.
