Have You Tried a Green Smoothie?

An easy way to sneak in fruits and veggies for kids and adults

Smoothies make mornings easy—for kids and adults.

If you’re new to green smoothies, start with spinach. You’ll hardly notice it’s there. It’s better to work up to kale if you’re not used to the taste.

When I introduced my kids to smoothies, I used dark cups so they couldn’t see the scary green concoction. These would’ve been perfect. They got used to the greens in a few weeks — we tend to crave more of what we’re eating.

I love serving warm oatmeal with smoothies for breakfast; it’s a perfect combination.
