A perfect sunshine tea. Easy, refreshing, and delicious.

Part of my evening routine is making herbal iced tea for the next day. Prep takes a few minutes. It’s a refreshing and healthy beverage ready to grab on the go.

Herbal tea combinations are endless. Packed with nutrients, they offer many different benefits.

Here are a few examples:

Nettle: Anti-inflammatory
Hibiscus: : Lowers blood pressure 
Chamomile: Calming 
Oat straw: Stress relieving

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place loose leaf herbs in 2-quart jar and fill with filtered water. Secure lid.
  2. Place in refrigerator overnight or in sun for 6 hours.
  3. Strain through nut bag or cheesecloth.
  4. Serve over ice.
  5. Add any optional ingredients.
  6. Store covered in refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • Always check with your doctor when introducing new herbs.
