A Mexican seasoning that makes everything taste delicious.

Spices make all the difference.
When I first started learning about Mexican food, my go-to was Sazon. It’s a prepackaged seasoning mix that gives almost everything a delicious depth of flavor.
One of my favorite ways to use Sazon is on slow-steamed thin-sliced potatoes. I first had this at my sister-in-law’s house (who makes everything taste amazing).
But when I went natural, I did a pantry revamp and tossed most prepackaged foods. Sazon has MSG and additives, which meant it was out for me.
So, I made my own version—one that’s full of bold, simple flavor and works on everything from tacos to potatoes. It’s part of how I started building out my own flavor-first meal prep system. Side Note: If you love Mexican-inspired meals, check out 25 Plant-Based Mexican Recipes for Meal Prep!
You can also try this in place of the seasonings in Vegan Tofu Taco Crumbles, Plant-Based Stuffed Tacos, Healthy Nachos, or Instant Pot Refried Beans. It adds so much flavor with just a few simple spices.
