Achieving goals isn’t about a lucky break.
It’s the day-to-day that builds success–the small incremental habits in which we’re consistent.
Doing without thinking, especially when we’re short on motivation.
We don’t always feel inclined. But when we act on our habits, something usually comes about.
Whenever I’m a bit depleted or unsure, I pull out my list of go-to’s for others’ surefire inspiration.
One book that never lets me down is Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. There are many takeaways throughout, but here’s one of my favorites.

― Elizabeth Gilbert, Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear
